    Canon IR 2016i - DADF-P1 problem

    Hello,
When I copy a letter on the glass the print is perfect. However, when I print from the media tray (DADF-P1) I have a line that prints down the page. I have attached a test page for you to see what I am referring too. I have tried all suggestions on http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...ice-guide.html but that did not work. Any suggestions? I have purchased a canon iR 2016i service manual but I may need to purchase a DADF-P1 service manual if need be.

Thanks for you help in advance,
    Trshi

    Hello sir,

Clean or replace the small reading glass.

Turn the green cog/wheel inside the dadf cover and watch the white roller underneath turn, probably a block of muck somewhere.
