    Re: CANON IRC 3200

    Manual say

E220 A fault has occurred in activating the scanning lamp.

    The intensity of the scanning
    lamp has dropped.

During shading adjustment at time of
power-on, the intensity detected by the
CCD is below a specific level.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

      Scan Lamp Signal Issue
=does the error appear when Lamp returns to Home Position and illuminates to read the Standard White Plate.

      if so>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
First try re-seating all the connections on the Inverter PCB, Interface PCB, Reader Controller PCB, and the CCD Unit.
After reseating all the connectors on the Inverter PCB and the Reader Controller, check for a loss of a 24volts at J206, pins 1, 3 and 4 on the Reader Controller.

Replace the Reader Controller (FG3-2570-000) if necessary.
