    Canon IR Advance C 5051

I hope someone on here can help with this problem. Customer called about a month or so ago and the ITB error code E075-0003. The belt had walked to the back, I re-aligned it and it worked for about 3 weeks and it errored again. I went back and re-aligned it again and it lasted maybe an hour. I ordered a new belt and installed it today and while doing service setting (itb-init) it errored again. If I just close it up and let it warm up it does not seem to move but that is a very short time.
Does anyone know what I am missing?
The machine is level, all the rollers look good and the spring tension seems equal on both sides.
We work mainly on Lanier so this is a challenge.
I do have the Intravia manual that covers this box.

    Thank you

The problem could be related to the Cassette Feed Driver PCB or the Drum Driver PCB. The ITB Steering Sensor PS24 and the ITB Displacement Sensors PS25 - PS28 all go back to the Cassette Feed Driver PCB. The ITB Motor M13 and the ITB Displacement Control Motor M14 connect back to the Drum Driver PCB.

The sensor's for monitoring the steering motor run through the cassette feed driver PCB. This board can keep the signals from reaching the DC Controller's final destination.

Thank teckat, it sounds like you need to be a Canon dealer to get the assymble for it.
I will check the serial number and lot number and see what I have.

      Thanks again

Thanks teckat for the help. The publication you sent me fixed the problem.
The company that sold the machine never put the levelers down or adjusted for level.
I ran them down hand tight to the floor than recentered the itb and ran the ITB-INIT and checked ITB-POS, it was at 470 so I followed the instructions and did 2 turns re ran it and got 190 so I left it.
I guess if it is in the range of -300 to +450 it is good to go?

        Thanks again

Different strength springs, different bushings. Chances are you just have a cracked bearing/bushing in the ITB assy,
