[Misc] IRADVC5030 'waiting to print' msg after replacing Mcont 1 pcb

Dear All,

I have above MFD which had a blank screen, only the green power on LED. Chenged control panel but did not fix. l tried the main controller pcb 1 to get the screen lit. The problem now is that any print job indicates 'waiting to print' and stays there forever. MFD can copy, scan, print user data sheet etc. The MFD is using Uniflow, all updates for MAC address done by IT officer. The machine had firmware version 69.03 earlier. Do I have to flash the firmware to get Mcont 1 uptodate or it will not require any firmware updates to get it work. I am just missing out on something, please help out. Thanks

Was this a new main controller. Did you follow the technical procedure when replacing the main controller 1. Also before you started to, and replaced the control panel, was you able to print to the device.

run Box Checker diagnostic mode by holding down the 2&4 key at the same time while booting the machine.

do u have a Fiery connected ?

make sure the IMG-CONT is set to 3

Try Re-seating the DRAM on Main Controller 1/2

or Try clearing MMI

Be sure to backup the user entered settings/information on the machine before clearing MMI.

Backup can be performed via RUI.

-Adjustment/Maintenance
-Function Settings
-Set Destination
-Management Settings
-Printer Settings

Thank you all for the infos provided but unfortunately the machine was swapped before next visit. The customer is one of those important ones so management could not afford the MFD down for more than two days. I have nothing to update you on with regards to further checks. Thanks

If u don't have one> and plan to service
Advise is to get a Manual on this series of/IRAD-IRADC > not like your typical iR's
