[Misc] cannon ir 2520 toner not fixed

dear sir

i have a cannon ir2520 it do not fix toner i used original toner, voltages are acording to machine requirement, original drum, but it do not fix toner like heat roll machine.

i have check & clean the fixing unit but the problem is still the same

Install latest firmware
Change paper

Check settings if you have different type of paper.

Pls follow these steps to solve this problem.

• Try to change another type of paper
• You must use original toner
• If the toner you used before defected try to empty the development unit from old toner and reinstall new original toner.
• Check if the right door closed properly,
• When the right door closed properly, it pushes the lever to engage the teeth with the locking lever, (see the figure).

• Check the bushing of the pressure roller.
• If you have another fixing unit from another machine tries the units one by one,
  fixing unit, development unit and the right door.
• Print one copy and jam it in the fixing unit, then check the tension of the paper between the front and rear side of the fixing unit is equal or not,
• Check the temperature of the fixing unit by enter the service mode:

Choose the #print then #numeric # no. 62 for normal paper the default is 7
the setting range is between 0 to 14
for thick paper no. 63. The default is 7; the setting range is between
0 to 14.


* * maybe needs to upgrade new firmware of the machine but I don't have the firmware, if you got it please send it to me.

I think these are all the reasons about the fixing toner on the paper.

please once go through the attachment and if i changed the drum i gives a line on upper side of the paper after 1000 copies and from first copy i gives a light copy from upper side (is there is a sensor which i have to clean while changing the drum in drum unit or in machine)
