    IR 3035 slow faxing

    I have a customer that uses their ir3035 for faxing and their complaint is slow sending faxes as well as sending more then one fax before the first is done sending the second and third fax times out or takes 15 to 20 min. to complete. They said they have had the line checked by Knology, tests o:k. any ideas? Just started as far as i can tell a couple weeks ago. They have had the machine for a couple years with no problems.

      Did they change their connection line to "Voice over IP"?

          turn off the -Check Dial Tone Before Sending- feature.
          Turning off this feature causes no problems and will not affect the sending or receiving of faxes.


          press ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
          select COMMUNICATIONS SETTINGS
          under FAX SETTINGS select TX SETTINGS
          select CHECK DIAL TONE BEFORE SENDING
          set this value to OFF
          press OK
