    [Electrical] E751-9000 IRC5185

Hi All, I have the above EC which occurs in warmup and the only reference I can find is a possible pinched wire to the 24V line, the reference was made towards the Fixing assy, I replaced the entire Unit incl its Drawer however the EC reoccurs, although the Unit is in the Flood area it has not been subject to any water damage and was working ok prior to the school hols. Has anyone had this before?
    Thanks Cliff.

Slide out the bypass assembly and check the internal connector J750 and the bypass connector J755 for damage.
If necessary, replace the damaged connector.

this connector becomes cracked / when customers slam or push in bypass sideways after searching for jams/

have replaced many of them/sometimes u can straighten internal one & bypass one if not damaged------------see pics below

Thanks for this Teckat, seems like you are referring to a possible deformed Bracket holding the Connector, makes sense, I will check out in the morning.

First they bend the frame holding the connector, then they ruin the connector itself.

Thanks to Teckat and Fer for your input, I checked all of your suggestions however I noticed a crackle and burn smell from the PSU fan, on inspection a bright arcing could be seen from inside the LVPSU so I replaced it from a mc we had in the techbay which fixed the problem, I will, when I get time dismantled the LVPSU and find out why. Thanks again. Cliff.
