    P148 jam = Initial stagnation (clean or replace pick up,feed and separation rollers)

    password = market

      DR 7090C

      P148 Jam
      If the P148 Jam occurs, clean the optical sensors in the paper path and perform the SENS-INT Adjustment with the Service Tool. To perform the SENS-INT Adjustment:

      1) Launch the 7090Tool.exe located on the Driver CD in the Tools folder.

      2) When the password prompt appears type in the password "market".

      3) When the Service Tool appears, click on the Feeder button

      4) Click on the tab labeled Function.

      5) Click the Start button, next to SENS-INT, to start the adjustment.

        Another point noted by Canon on P148

        Jam code P148.
        Tech ran service tool and found that PCB4 did not change logic states when tested. Tech swapped PCB2 with PCB4 and problem followed the sensor. Tech installed new sensor, but still got the P148.

        In this case, the tech looked in the paper path under PCB2 and found a small scrap of paper at the sensor location. Removed paper scrap and resolved the issue.
