    [Misc] Canon ir2535

I have a customer who has replaced an ir3025N with an ir2535i. issue with it is if you send to print to it, for example, 50 different single page documents it prints one page - stops- prints the next page - stops etc. The 3025 just printed the documents off without pausing.

    Any ideas?

Which driver are using, PCL5\6 or UFRII-LT? Try the latter. Install from the CD which came with the machine or download latest version from canon website. You could also try firmware upgrade.

    Good luck.

Thanks - PCL6 at the moment - will try UFR. Latest system software on there.

I have had this complaint on these many times, this is Canon's official answer.

These models do not have hard drives in them, as such, jobs are processed one at a time, unlike models with hard drives that can store and queue the jobs seamlessly.

iR2500 series is a "Lite" model, lacking many features and capabilities of full imageRUNNER products. This is one of those limitations. They also do not support SSL, and they will also not rotate scans fed short edge (i.e. LTR-R, Legal)

          Problem is definitely PCL6.
