    first--------------

remove the memory dims/and boot rom>> clean ends & re-seat them

    next------
Remove the Delivery Vertical Path Unit on the left side of the machine.
You will see a photo sensor PS5 Fixing Feeder Unit Open/Close Sensor sandwiched between two micro-sensors that actuate when closing the Fixing Feeder Unit. Clean that photo sensor as it fills up with dirt and dust.

    "Printer Warming Up"
    ------------------------------------------------------
    if fails try --
    another point-------if u have a Fiery connected>
get into COPIER>OPTION<INT-FACE>IMG-CONT & set it back to "0" hit OK & power off/then on printer--
then go back into COPIER>OPTION<INT-FACE>IMG-CONT & set it back to "3" hit OK & power off/then on printer--

    -------------------------------------------------

also--How old are your DRUMS ????

Check in service mode, * 2 & 8 *, under Copier > display > Dens. Look at the value for each individual color. The normal value would be between zero and one.
If you have a color with a value around four or five you have an issue with the toner/starter concentration level for that color/ REPLACE THAT DRUM

Also just to add, if you leave the machine running showing "printer warming up" it will eventually throw an error code, it will retry warming up 3 times then give you the error (E020 ****)
