Re: Canon CLC3220 C1 won't boot after update

Just a shot in the dark: is the clc3220 a printer model without scanner?
if so, there is a patch availible, its name is 1_GFKBP.dpkg.
second: try to update the c1 to latest version and see, what happens.
Btw.: i just found out, that the C1 attached on a CLC2620 will NOT boot beneath Software Ver 2,1 (Canon TI Nr. 14 2005.03.13)

I have put you a Patch (1-JHC6K) here:

It upgrades the Software to ver.: 2,12 and installs several patches, including the "printer" patch. Give it a try, you have nothing to loose

Now re thinking about the Fiery--

I will do some further research on this /
the 2620 came out in very late 2005 USA - on the brochure it has C2 as the Fiery-
      the C2 V1.0 was not available until early 2006 for 3220 & 2620

for the C1 , to support 2620 it needs v2.1.2 software
out in 8/8/2005 > also included support for 3200/3220

HERMAN U GOT IT ON THE HEAD

I have seen IR3200 with fiery that boot up 2/3 of the way and quit. Turn on with 1&7 to enter fixed IP mode (copier won't look for fiery). Should boot up normally and come ready. Enter service mode level 1-copier-option-intface-imagecontrol-change to 0-reboot. Copier should work now.

          change to "0"

that will not work with a Fiery Connected ---Fiery needs "3"

any way---poster is talking about a iRC2620 --Read thru the entire post/
instructions have been posted on re-install/ this issue is the ver of firmware needed for a C1 to be attached to a 2620

Herman was right. It works only with v2.1 and above. Today I updated fiery software and it worked smoothly.
Guys thanks very much for your help. Cheers.
