Ir7095 limited function

hi guys .i have a 7095 that went into limited functions e540.that reset ok but now with limited functions switched off it still displays mc in limited functions .no errors.found that the hole punch was causing the message so I switched it off on the dip switchs on the front of the pro finisher .now no message .
i suspect the hole punch is ok but the main controller on the finisher has locked it out .
anyone got any ideas

Sort of guessing here, especially if you have reset the Limited Functions status, but maybe start from scratch and remove the Hole Punch Unit and check the operation from there.

Limited Functions on that model has 2 screens.
Scroll to the second screen to release Punch Unit limitation

imageRUNNER is displaying a message of Functions Limited
The imageRUNNER is configured with the Pro Punch. All options for finishing are available, but cannot use the Pro Punch.


Check the setting of the bits for SW381on the finisher switch PCB.
See if bit 2 is shifted to on. Bit 2 is only turned on if the internal punch unit is installed.
Once bit 2 was turned off, the imageRUNNER was restored to full functionality
