    Hi to every one,

E355 Error codeI am not sure of the following: If your machine is networked, use its IP address to enter the Remote Unite Interface and choose the displaying language.

      Hello again,

The fact of not being able to enter neither the service mode, nor the user mode is a consequence of the E355 error code.

MNCON clear may resolve the Japanese issue.
        or re-install the System Software.

        like this in English version

Try Refitting all the harness connections within the control panel assembly

        E355 is another issue

E355 error may appear after replacing the Counter Memory PCB

don't know or think if your model supports this below
To clear an E355 code, access Level 3 of Service Mode. This can be done by following the procedures below.
        - Press "*", then Press "2" and "8" simultaneously, then Press "*"
        - Press " * ", then Press "1" and "9" simultaneously, then Press "3"
        - Press Copier / Function / Clear / E355 , then Press OK and then Press Reset
        - Turn the machine off, then on using the main switch which is located below and to the rear of the bypass tray.

DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES IN LEVEL 3 SERVICE MODE. Only used for the E355 clear.

Any adverse affects on the machine will not be supported by Canon USA if Level 3 service modes are adjusted.

        or maybe this---------------------

        Procedure for Clearing the Code:

        1. Enter the Service Mode - Additional Function - then hit the # Key
        2. Scroll(arrow)to #12 Clear - then hit the Set Key

3.Scroll (arrow)to ERR - then hit the Set Key

        4. E355-CLR will be displayed - then hit the Set Key to clear the E355
        5. OK should display - then the machine will return to the Standby Screen

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        or

        E355
error code is due to no communication between the Main-Controller board and the Serial Number board below it. The boards are connected by a 11 PIN yellow connector and cable. This yellow connector must be reseated on the new Main-Controller board when changed. The connector must be seated firmly on the board.

        1. Enter Service Mode: Press * Additional Functions, 2&8 simultaneously, then * Additional Functions again.
        2. Then select the [COPIER] option. Under [COPIER], select the Function tab.
        3. Under the [FUNCTION] tab, select the [CLEAR] option.
        4. In [CLEAR] there is a selection E355-CLR. Select it and hit OK.
        5. Reboot the machine.

Thanks, but the machine does not let us get in to service mode. We have managed to get it back to an English display, but it is still upside down. None of the buttons on the control panel work. Machine has only done 5k.
