I'm trying to install the system software on a new hard drive in a IR3300. I'm using SST v4.52Ec. I connect my network cable and select the software and put the copier in download mode and start the batch download. Every time it gives me error code 147 and times out. I've tried the IR2200, IR2200H and IR2200N and I'm selecting All-HDF to format the drive. Could anybody please give me some guidance as to what is failing or what I am doing wrong? Thanks a lot.

more than likely the SN of your new HDD is not listed on the *.ift file.
also make sure you perform a HDD format before trying to install any firmware files!Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned. -

Thanks for the reply. Turns out it was the .ift file, but it was brand and model number of the hard drive. I tried editing the file for the drive, which was a Hitachi, but I still had the same problem. So I tried a Toshiba drive and edited the file for that and it worked. Thanks for the info.Comment
