Re: CLC-5151 prints -- but needs adjustment/ calibration

1-My top suggestion is "BUY A SERVICE MANUAL"
    2-& LEARN YOUR PRODUCT
3-Sorry, but we can go on and on and on > with this problem, if u don't understand the copy process on this series of printers> this will be a wasted post & continued frustration for u

u need to learn some procedures on CQ ISSUES for this series/ there are no quick fix solutions or band-aid repairs on color products

      Update: ITB crash

One week ago, while I had the ITB fixed that far that at least the black copy/print was working, suddenly there was a loud crash inside the device.
And then the ITB looked like this:

      ITB m1+.jpg

The ITB had disassembled itself, kind of exploded and bent part of the drive mechanism.

A new (refurbished) ITB is on its way from Germany as well as the drive unit. I expect it to arrive here in East Africa earliest next week. If I would be superstitious like the locals I would believe there is a bad spirit inside the machine...

You will do good to inspect the gears for damages on both the ITB and the drive unit assemblies before mounting.
