Re: canon ir 105
Maybe trying to say that they get a load paper message in 1, 3 and 4 or jams from those trays?????
the message was definetly lost in translationAccidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment

Re: canon ir 105
Did You reset DCon?
When You want to clear Mn-Cont,DCon,... always first print PPrint then perform reset.
If You already have PPrint then input values from it.
For Load paper message on TRAY 1,3 and 4 go to Service mode-Copier-Option-CST-ADJ and input values before reset.
Check sticker on main door and input values from it.
PPrint from iR7086 in attach.
Sorry on bad English.Attached FilesComment

Re: canon ir 105
Thank you all. I have done all the above including changing DC PCB from another machine, DC-CON cleared, reprogrammed but nothing helps. Checked sensors and sensors from all 4 trays are sending proper signal on DC-con P004 etc. when tested with trays and manually without trays. Can't figure out from service manuals, what is common to Right Tray, C3 and C4 that sends "Load Paper" on the console. Perfectly working all 4 trays, 5 days ago now, only Left Tray works now. Any other service techs, please respond.Comment

Re: canon ir 105
I just want to update my finding. First, thanks to Teckat for directing me towards checking the Optical Sensors for Right tray, which was NG!. All other sensors were fine. I cleaned it and the reflector on the side door. Next morning everything checks out and all trays work! It turns out, if right tray sensor fails, it knocks out C3 and C4 too (like Christmas lights!). Once I fixed the failing sensor, all trays come alive..go figure! No where in the service manual, it says that. Good luck.Comment

Change all sensors from tray 1 to tray to 4, reset dc con turn machine off and then on withtray 4 open. If tray 1 works replace all sensors from tray 4Comment
