irc4080 powers off when using glass??

I have an irc4080 that works just fine if you are copying from the feeder, but if you use the glass, it makes the copy then continues to say copying and then shuts off.

Sounds like df data cable or df open/close sensor. Check for pinched/broken wires. Also ty-wraps can be tightened too tight, causing shorts or cross signal issues. Make sure harness has free travel when you open/close lid. Had machine once with in-line fuse that would open a circuit when df was closed.

    Hope that helps.

Main Power Switch trips off ?

after shut off does it re-boot > or u need to flip power switch back on-
what happens if u keep Feeder up and make glass copies ??
this only happens when u raise & close feeder each time ?

Check to see if there are any error codes in the history.( check in service mode )-

If no error codes are present, monitor the wall voltage constantly for a hour or two-

If you see the voltage continue to rise until the machine shuts off,
ask the customer to call the electrician.
