All iPF Models with an HDD--E602-401A Error Code

However, there have been cases reported from the field that this error code is not cleared after the HDD has been replaced.
Note:
When E602-401A occurs, ensure that a brand new, Canon issued service part HDD is used.
Never use an HDD that has been previously installed in another printer.
Procedure for replacing an HDD:
Whenever the main controller PCB, HDD harness and HDD are replaced together, boot the printer up in
Service Mode and perform board replacement first, (CPU for Main Controller PCB, MC for M/C Relay
PCB).
If replacing only the HDD, board replacement procedure is not necessary.
After this step is completed, turn OFF the printer and reboot into Service Mode again.
Turn printer OFF once more and turn printer ON in user mode. This will ensure that the HDD errors are cleared.
Note: There is no need to initialize or clear any error code while in Service Mode.
The printer is designed to auto clear errors when entering Service Mode. In addition, the new HDD is automatically formatted when the printer is turned on after replacing it.
