Is it an OEM drum. What about your transfer belt? How old is your transfer belt. Images are transfer to the belt after images are written to the drums. What are density readings like for black and what about your window readings?

E020-04C0========The supply of BLACK Toner for the toner container to the developing assembly is faulty.
ATR sensor has an open circuit.
either over add or under add of toner

The fault occurs when an image is being formed.
u need to check your ITB UNIT





where are u getting your toner units from

check if the shutter under the toner cartridge is functioning

another thing to check is the swing gear unit> this drives the ITB into correct position

if teeth are worn or damaged>cause skip over and no or poor drive to ITB to pick up image u can have various e020 codes
