CanonIR2018 lost admin password

Hi All,
I'm a new comer in this forum.I have a problem with a copier canon Ir 2018. i've recently set a password for a admin but i've forgot it. so id there any way to reset it? I've tried to log in as a normal user and tried to use this combination:*(2,80 and then * but nothing happen it is still asking for the system manager id and password.
Can you help me? many thanks.

you have to hit *28 * then use the arrow key i believe to move to clear then PWD then hit ok....this will nemove the admin password

Yes i know that ... but when do i have to hit these keys? the copier is locked at the start up it is asking for a ID and password
i have an ID and a non admin password,so when do i have to hit 8(2,8) *?

go into user mode and then into service mode...and do what i said above

Hi All i was out for a while sorry,
I manage to do what it is said here: *(2,8)* but its look like the IR2018 is a little bit differente:
I saw this:#SSSv or #MENU etc. does anyone tell me what to do with this looks like chinese?

In the servive menu you should find #CLEAR option
Then chose PWD ...

thanks a lot! it's works but do you know why i couldn't do it before?
for my IR2018 the combinations *(2,8)* doesn't work if i press 2 and 8 at the same time! it's only works if i just press * ,2 ,8 and then *!And it took me about 2 monthsd to realize that!

use factory setting to clear all..such as ram or e355 error... press (*)(1 and 7)(3 and 9)(*) ..then the screen will show no 1-85..at 4 pages..use next key to find last no..then select the last no..after select it will show the menu or data inside that no..use previous key to find clear e355 and all ram clear...then press ok.. this use by factory to setting the copier..and work to almost canon ir model..
