    canon Ipf 6100

Everytime when I turn on the machine, on the screen it states "close upper cover", of course I have already closed the upper cover. But the machine stay like this withou any action and even though I try any other buttons, it just have no any reaction at all. I cannot even turn off the machine by the Power button. I have to cut off the cable and power on again..... and it come all the same situation !
Is anybody tell me how to solve the problems ?

Turn the printer on in Service Mode (without the print heads) and check what is it saying.

Is it still Close Cover or Insert Print Head ?

When I enter service mode, it still comes the message "close upper cover". I don't know how to enter service mode (without the print heads) because the print head doesn't move out at all. No reaction at all.
