hello there! After sliding out the processing unit of the Canon IRC6800 I cannot slide it in. there is a gap between the screw area and cannot screw it back. I checked the developing rotary gear and slightly turned it and slide it in many times the gap is still there. Is there any other way around to fix this. please, experts help me fix this.

When returning the processing unit into the main frame, there is approximately 2mm space between the main frame and the processing unit.
The unit will not attach correctly to the main frame.
Found that either the drive gears for the ITB or drum assemblies were out of alignment, or the white plug for the black toner assembly was not plugged in.
Moving the drive gears will allow the assembly to engage correctly, or plugging in the white plug will allow the assembly to engage correctly.

Re: canon IRC6800 unable to insert process unit
Thanks Teckat, what I do now is take off the developer unit and the ITB so that I can see what's making it wrong. Very helpful information. I got 4 of these machines got a lot of problems lately, very difficult to maintain. One thing more, what machine can you recommend (in your experience), I run not less than 30,000 copies a day, I need a fast bullish machine in black copies only.
with my appreciation and respect,
