Error 602-001 in IR2200

Hi all
Plz I need help in IR 2200, it display an error E602-001, the customer told me someone changed the hard disk drive and worked very well, but this error occurs about three times every two to three month, and every time he replaced the hard disk to clear this error. now the customer hate this machine and hate canon because every error cost too much to replace the hard disk, so please any idea about this problem, because it not logic to solve this error, must replace the hard disk every time.

Have you tried doing a disk check? Are you uploading latest firmware when you change the disk? Are you using refurb disks from hytech? You can edit an .ini for the sst to make it happy with just about any drive there is out there.

E602-0001 =A mounting fault of the HDD is detected when the HDD is started up from
the BOOT ROM.
.also check the connections for the Hard Drive harness
.HDD flat ribbon cable could be a an issue--


Wiring
Are the connection and the cable between connector J1025 of the main controller
PCB and the connector J2005 of the HDD normal?


U could have a location power issue with that many e602 errors /
effects HDD Partitions during printing
try performing CHK-TYPE / HD CLEAR in Service Mode.

This May resolve the Error code. Note: CHK-TYPE and HD CLEAR can be found in Service Mode > Function > System.

CHK-TYPE
Use it to select a partition number for HD-CHECK.
Using the Mode

HD-CLEAR
Use it to initialize the partition selected using CHK-TYPE.
Caution Using the Mode
1) Select the item.
2) Press the OK key.
