AB2 finisher adjustments for new eeprom

I am new to this model Canon IPC7000 AB2 finisher E540-8001 code says replace sensor, motor, control board. everyone I have talked with at the board repair places tell me that generally if the fuses are not blown then the boards are fine. I am working on this finisher control board and trying to do the adjustments for the eeprom. The sensor intensity worked fine but when I try and do the speed of the swing guide it starts swinging then displays flashing 1 then 2 then 3 and finally A on the led. In the book it says hit the start button and "in a while" hit the 385 enter button again if it displays 0 then it is good if something else start over. In a while is very vague any hints thanks. The tray hung up of the external cover while coming down and started this issue.

I would replace the FM2-6425-000 = Feed Motor Driver PCB for the Finisher AB1 and Saddle Finisher AB2

I have, the driver PCB fuses are all good. The tray hung up on the side cover and stopped the tray from moving. I have lowered the trays a little before starting the finisher up in case it maybe thought it was too high and would not start the tray motor. I ordered another control board with a blank eeprom and i will try that Monday when it gets here.

C6000 when you put a new EEprom in a finisher control pcb AB1/AB2 do you hve to flash it so it will recognize the accessory?
