I suppose you mean the electronic component in the HV pcb? You need to be not only a very good Electronic technician but one with good experience in Electronic Fault diagnosis, for you to do 'component level' troubleshooting! You must also be armed with a very good working knowledge & principle of operation of the machine. Have a service manual ready, complete with the circuit diagram of the HV pcb, plus the relevant tools. Here I am assuming that you have already Isolated the fault...really to the HV pcb and you want to do component level checks.

what type of BLACK on copy ??
1- solid black > without image on paper ?
2- black > solid with some images seen
3- gray background - image seen = yes/no

4- is this issue on network prints ??

5- there is no circuit diagram for individual component identification on HVT

for bench testing/ U just don't use a digital meter
