Ir 6000 right side door micro switch

After clearing a jam the screen reads "open the top right side door" to reset.
When I do that it doesn't re-set. Just keeps reading "Close side Door"
I inspected the side door microswitch and saw that it was knocked out of position.
So I cliped the switch it back into position, made sure the door lever actuated the switch correctly and put it back together.
Same thing keeps happening.
If I turn off the copier it boots up normally but when I open the top right side door the sensor does not respond that the door is open.
The bottom door prompts me to close it if opened but not the top door.
I'm guessing I need a new microswitch. Should I look at anything else before ordering the switch?

It is not the switch that senses door open / close but photo interuptor PS3 at the front of the switch.

You were right, It was the photo interupter switch, not the door actuator micro switch.
I cleaned it off and re-installed. Now working again.
