When making multiple copies my Canon NP 6050 reported a paper jam at the right side center door area. I retrieved a 4" square of torn paper from that area but could not find any other jammed paper anywhere in else in the machine. I don't see how could I lose almost an entire sheet without finding it. I checked all the other trays. The machine won't operate as it is still indicating a jam. There is no paper jam anywhere and certainly not in the area being reported.

Re: Canon NP6050 False Paper Jam
It's not a numerical code. The LCD display indicates that there is a jam located in the center door area on the right side of the machine. That's where I found the piece of torn paper. But now there is no other paper there at all, nor anywhere else in the machine.Comment

Re: Canon NP6050 False Paper Jam
Jam code is in service mode.Inspect a sensor flag around jam area.Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself

Re: Canon NP6050 False Paper Jam
I remember having to get into service mode several years ago when I had a similar problem with it. But I've forgotten how to do that, so please advise me on how it's done.Comment

Re: Canon NP6050 False Paper Jam
I read the pdf, but it only says what I already know - that the indicated problem is supposedly in the right door area.
Did the pinhole / service mode routine. The numerals it lists in the left part of the screen are 3 & 10.Comment

I don't understand how this relates to the other digits 3 & 10, but I'm sure you know more about this than I do.Comment
