[Jamming] Canon NP6050 False Paper Jam

When making multiple copies my Canon NP 6050 reported a paper jam at the right side center door area. I retrieved a 4" square of torn paper from that area but could not find any other jammed paper anywhere in else in the machine. I don't see how could I lose almost an entire sheet without finding it. I checked all the other trays. The machine won't operate as it is still indicating a jam. There is no paper jam anywhere and certainly not in the area being reported.

It's not a numerical code. The LCD display indicates that there is a jam located in the center door area on the right side of the machine. That's where I found the piece of torn paper. But now there is no other paper there at all, nor anywhere else in the machine.

As many as 17 sensors are used to monitor the movement of copy paper

          PS10 /External delivery sensor=delay/stationary
          PS12 /Internal delivery sensor (reversing assembly)=stationary jams.

Did you remove feed assembly and make sure theres nothing in it or behind it. Large pieces of paper don't disappear easily.

I remember having to get into service mode several years ago when I had a similar problem with it. But I've forgotten how to do that, so please advise me on how it's done.

It will list the last 3 jams but just the codes. No dates etc.

I read the pdf, but it only says what I already know - that the indicated problem is supposedly in the right door area.

Did the pinhole / service mode routine. The numerals it lists in the left part of the screen are 3 & 10.

In service mode you have to go addl func/1/addl func/display and scroll right to b_jam page 5 of 9. And I correct myself, it gives you the 9 most recent body jam codes.

Here's the display for page 5:

                              B_JAMO: 010A 010E 010E
                              B_JAM3: 010E 010E 010E
                              B_JAM6: 010E 0108 010E
                              B_ALRM: 0000
                              B_ER1: E712 0000
                              B_ER2: E713 0000
                              B_ER3: E713 0000
                              A: O

I don't understand how this relates to the other digits 3 & 10, but I'm sure you know more about this than I do.
