[Error Code] imagepress 1110

Hopeyou are both well, I have a imagepress giving me a E023-010 error, dev sleevemotor lock error, have you come across this fault yet?

I have just recieved the above email form a collegue. He is getting the above error on an imagepress 1110. He has replaced the dev unit, motor and still getting this error. Just phoned him and he has ordered the board that all the wiring connect to (dont know exactly which one that is as just been told over the phone). Was just wondering if anyone has had this or seen it?

There is a E023-020 code on sims but this is for something different but it has been done just incase.

How is this used ? HEAVY monthly volume (amt) ? or Light volume ?
toner usage coverage % ?

High volume customers with work flows consisting of extremely low toner usage (90% pre-printed media for example), may experience excessive toner becoming packed in the Developer Assembly.

Solution should only be applied to customers with work flows consisting of minimal toner usage. Adjust the following Toner Supply reference values and E020 error threshold settings in Service Mode.


LvL2 > COPIER > ADJUST > DENS > TSD-DEV = -1
LvL2 > COPIER > ADJUST > DENS > TSD-BFR = -1
LvL2 > COPIER > ADJUST > DENS > TSDE0201 = +3
LvL2 > COPIER > ADJUST > DENS > TSDE0202 = +3


After adjusting these settings, printer should be closely monitored for E020 Error messages. If E020 error were to occur, the customers work flow does not meet the low usage requirements and the Service Mode settings should be returned to default values.

E0023 error code that is because the development unit is too hard and do not rotate the engine gears rear of the unit, which I have done when I get that all the code is empty toner unit and vacuum unit and let it completely clean and reinstall everything and lubricate the gears and motors clean, then put his place and made a INSTALL-TONER-S adjusted with the calibration problem solved and has not failed me so far according to this code should be in my case is that if this is working with full toner prints prints minimum and then saturates the drive and launch the code

teckat, this machine is heavily used so doubt this will be cause.

The dev driver board is what has been ordered just now. not had an update yet to see if this has fixed it or not.

all fixed, it was those freekin sharks... LOL P-Kit board solved the problem
