    IR 35801 error code: 0067-0102

    Hi all,
I am new to working on Cannons (usually Ricoh machines). I have an error code on an MFP 0067-0102 .
I have powered down etc. but the error reappears.
I have looked in the service manual but cannot find reference to this code.
    Any ideas??
    Many thanks.

I have had this a lot lately, put the latest firmware on for this range, the error will be gone

      check Test Print quality
      check ITB life
      check drum life
      Install last firmware
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

        ---------------------------
0102 = The two detected currents of primary transfer ATVC are
both at the threshold or less.

if ITB is old> replace it> all the primary transfer rollers are included > this is not a re-buildable unit

        1. Check to see if the primary transfer roller spring is deformed or detached.
        2. Clean the point of contact of the primary transfer roller.
        SERVICE MODE
        press Additional Functions Key (once)
press #2 & # 8 key at the same time (release both)
then press Additional Functions Key again (release it)

        3. Make the following selections in sequence [in Service mode] > COPIER > Display > MISC > DRM-LIFE] to check the setting value; if the value is around '100', suspect that the drum almost reaches the end of life, and replace the drum unit with a new one.
        4. If the symptom still occurs, re-fit all the connectors of the DC Controller PCB.
        5. If Step 4 does not work on the symptom, output P-Print printouts, and then replace the DC Controller PCB with a new one.]

        also--------

If an E067-0102 is indicated, it has been found that the coupling within the Drum Drive has compressed. (See illustration #2 below)

Remove the e-ring and correct the spring tension as in illustration #3.
