[Error Code] Canon 2550 Error code E020-0013 black Drum

Black drum has scratches on it causing lines on copies. Went to replace black drum now getting error code E020-0013. Put back old drum test good. Any ideas thanks. Already checked the sensors and cleaned. But remember put old drum back in copier works fine put new drum and copier gives error code. Thanks

When you replace any drum unit the fuse on the drum unit blows.
What does the life for the black drum look like under service mode now?

What is the value?

What's the count on this machine?

Brand new drum from canon. Count on machine 226,000 pages. I would have to go back and look at drum count but drum is brand new.

yes itb replaced today still problem exsists

No did not change the dc controller. But again if I put back the old drum copier works just fine. But put in new drum copier cycles and then error code pops up. Weird.

NOT WERID AT ALL.. It happens!

You can try cleaning the laser slit glass on the black laser as well.

Other things to check:

1. Check to see if the ATR shutter comes off; if so, re-fit it. 2. Wipe the ATR sensor window with a damp cotton cloth. 3. If the symptom still occurs, replace the ATR sensor with a new one. FK2-0494-000 - Reflector Type Photo-sensor

In fact my problem was just : I have not shake enough the drum
