Canon IRC2380i photocopier always jamming

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I found it whilst trying to find a solution for the problem with my photocopier. Hopefully you can help me.

Regardless of where the paper is being fed from, whether it's the feeder, stack bypass tray or the bottom feeder, the copier is always jamming and giving me the following error message:-

Press [shutdown] key. After the machine has been shutdown, turn the main power switch (on the right side of the main unit) off and on again. If the machine still does not operate normally, contact your service representative with the error code below.

I've checked the paper quality and all the usual stuff but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what is wrong with it or what the error code means?

Remove > clean ends & re-seating all boards on the main controller can resolve E747 codes

this applies to all models with these pcb's even if your model is not listed /works 95% of the time

I have also just started receiving this error message : E000732-0001. Will the pdf you attached also help this error too? If not, what is causing this?

+1 to above, just be sure to vacuum out the dust, use a non abrasive cleaner on the PCB's, dont damage any contacts;

I have seen this error almost as many times as I have seen faulty screens on the IRC2380 -3580i series
