    [Jamming] IRC1028 Duplex jam

I have IRC1028 jamming in duplex only. Single sided on but double sided jams always on the 15th copy say out of 20. Have checked registration sensor and shutter on. The jam codes are 0210 & 010C and one paper stops just before the white flapper in front end delivery unit and the other at entry of fixing assy. Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks.

one thing to point out > if printer does a lot of duplexing now or in the past>
duplex feed assembly could be crapping out / some techs fail to replace it when the ETB is replaced> instead they swap in the old one from the old ETB

jam may be caused by a bushing coming out of position on the reverse roller.
The reverse roller is key # 13 on figure 331 in the parts catalog. The bushing is key # 9 on the same page. Without the correct amount of pressure on the reverse roller the paper jams under it. See the image below.

paper jams intermittently at the Reverse Roller and produces a 010C Jam Code. ???
Check for any small pieces of paper lodged in the Jam Removal Door on the rear of the machine. Inspect this area for paper before replacing parts.

Problem identified and resolved. The bushings on reverse roller checked but ok. Found small spots on the rear cover of the reverse assy. filed down, cleaned and tested ok. Thanks
