    IR3300 print via centronics/parallel?

This IR3300 doesn't have built-in networking support so I'm trying to connect this via parallel. I've tried using a HP JetDirect 170x as well as directly connecting with a laptop via parallel.

The most I get is the "Processing Data" light will flash and then on the LCD under System Monitor it shows receiving for "Network RX" and "Printer", but nothing prints! Nothing in the log either.

It appears I have the parallel support as I have the "ROM" for the logic board that is noticeable when I remove the access panel. At least I believe this is correct..

    Thanks,

I've been doing a bit of reading...

This copier has the "copier rom" in it (Additional Options, 2&8, Additional Options). The version rom shows "C" not "N". Would that cause the symptoms I'm experiencing?

    Thanks all,

You need the Multi-pdl printer kit-C1 and "N" version of the system software to make this machine print. Densigrafix has this kit in stock.

        Yeah, as suspected. Thanks!

Looks like densi won't talk to "end users", which I am, just a lowly Sys admin..

Looks like eBay might be my friend! However I've got to determine whether it's worth spending the $$ on! :P

        Thanks again,
