[Misc] ImagePASS-H1 Version 1.0 Upgrade 2.0 Firmware?

We recently upgraded our ram on our ImagepassH1 Controller and the reason for the upgrade is so we can update from v1 to v2. Now that issue we are having is finding this firmware to download and install. We have read the tutorials on here to do the upgrade. Thank you in advanced.

Do you guys delete users for inactivity? I was registered to this forum sometime last year and went to login today and couldnt and had to re-register.

I just bought the discs, the thing im dealing with now is our main units firmware, what is yours at? I will upload the cd's somewhere tonight when I get back home..

If you do not participate, you will be deleted after a certain length of time either by the admins or automatically. I think they send a reminder email before actually deleting a user, but I'm not positive.

Bshurilla I would greatly appreciate it. I dont know what firmware im at atm, i just know im my H1 is only at 1.0 not even 1.1 or 1.2.

Which model machine do you have? I am assuming it is a 4080, 5180, or 5185.

For these machines, the minimum main controller version is 77.x.

2.0 will not work with anything older.

If I remember correctly, though, the current version is 93.x

i'm at 65.17, and I cant find anywhere to get the latest firmware from.. through google I found an old post on here from a member (who is now banned) back in 2010 that said he had the firmware, gave an email address, he just emailed me back but wants $20.. I am quite weary of paying him that though do to no kind of proof... as far as finding out what version you are at you can print the configuration page which will tell you, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do that lol

Yes i have the c5180 Too and i printed a config page but i dont know whats the controller

OP-CON?

To print a config page you goto Additional settings> then press 8&2 then Additional settings again> Then goto copier>function>Misc.P> then hit P.Print. And it will print out about 15 seconds
later. But again i dont know which one is the controller.

darn lol, I love canon's but this whole not being able to get anything because I'm not an authorized dealer is a bunch of freaking crap... like I said, when I get home I will upload the discs, there's 4 of them..

Yea that really sucks because i know most there is to know about how to fix these, theres tons of info on here and other places, i havnt had to call a tech maybe once in 4 years only because my boss reset the one thing you dont reset on these printers and he accidentally reset the laser values!! Even the tech couldnt fix that because all the printers have different values.

But the fact that i cant get parts without being an authorized tech is ridiculous!

But yea id greatly appreciate you uploading those discs really!! Its going to help us big time, IM tired of all these fly-by's because the controller isnt updated to 2.0 and all our computers are win7/8 64bit.

that's no problem, we have to upgrade because all our machines are 7 and 8, all 64bit and we desperately need to us the ps drivers for flyers..

Same here! Using the internal print controller and PCL drivers is out of the question for us. We had to print some booklets last week with the PCL and internal print controller and the gradients were awful, the color was way off. I love canon's we've had 3 of them over the last 5 years, but we were about to give up and buy a brand new xerox 260 off of ebay, at least we know it will run longer and have fewer problems. But alas we dont have the money for one of those atm but we are working toward that goal.

crap, got busy working late last night then some storms rolled in and i completely forgot about the discs, I'm transfering them too iso's now then I will upload them to my old dropbox..
