[Error Code] error code 100 0001 in IR3530

Hi,


One of my machine, canon IR3530 shows the error code of E100 0001.

Actually at first it shows the error code of 110 0001 and i checked the laser unit. I found that the laser motor was stucked. i rotated the motor manually some times and it started to run smoothly. and i mounted the laser unit. After that it shows the error code of E100 0001. I checked the BD pcb connector, right side door and is laser shutter operating normally. I did,t found nothing abnormal. pls help me.

According to the book you are at the stage of replacing the laser unit.
even thought the motor is spinning probably its not up to speed.

HP:guy has got the lead; E1100-0001: The scanner motor speed lock signal does not indicate a locked state at specific period of time after the scanner motor has been started.
Possible solutions: Check connections and all wiring...esp. from laser unit to DC controller board. Replace the laser unit...you could try a swap with a known working one(substitution) to eliminate doubt. Try replacing the DC controller. But eventually you'll end up replacing the LASER UNIT.
