    stapler ir 3045

    Dear Tech team...I would like to ask about stapler in ir 3045...how to make this thing work...i already try via control panel but not working..is there any step or setting that i miss...when i open front door there is pcb ..i thing its somekind of controller to make starpler work,,but i how to set it up...does any body know to kmake stapler work...sorry for my english sentence not so good...thank you

      If you have the finisher fitted correctly there is no setting to change it should straight away. Remove the finisher front square cover & check all the DIP switches are all off (down) then power the machine off/on again see if that helps. Failing that check you have the finisher fitted correctly, you need to connect the power & communication cable.

          sorry i forgot to tell you that i'm using finsher-S1...i already check the DF switch that all in off position....and i see the button switch beside the DF switch...and there is LED above to button switch...i wonder what is it for..?

              staplers do NOT usually work with ONE original.
              Put 2 sheets in your feeder and try again

                  check if the plate stapler is mounted to is not out of alignment, it will cause stapler alignment interference on sensor, PI46, to remain blocked preventing stapling. Reposition the stapler plate.


                  1) Once the Staple Cartridge is completely empty press the labels on the sides of the Stapler Cartridge labeled "PUSH".
                  2) Pull up on the top of the Stapler Cartridge.
                  3) Insert the new Staples into the back of the Staple Cartridge with the arrow pointing towards the front of the Staple Cartridge.
                  4) Push down the top of the Staple Cartridge to close the Staple Cartridge.

                  5) Pull on the orange tab to remove the tape.



                  6) Now the Staple Cartridge is ready to be used.


                  Note: The bottom of the Staple Cartridge should never be removed to replace the staples.

                      Yes, put two sheets in the feeder & try again, the machine WILL NOT STAPLE WITH ONE ORIGINAL

                          • Stapling papers. Some reminders. Remember to reset your setting when not in use so others will not have the problem of using your settings. Make sure the machine always has paper and ink and toner. Never forget your original papers. Lastly, to be sure, ask the person operating the machine to help you and show you firsthand how to use the machine.

                              thank you guys for your comment...i'd follow all instruction and its work.....i'm really happy finally my machine can staple the paper...
                              once again...i'm really wat to say great full thanks....

                              by the way i use service manual book from ir 4570...is it same with ir 3045...?
