    what is jam code
    ------------------------------------------------------
what mode are u selecting /

    1. stack tray sensor flag stuck in wrong position (SR9 or SR10)
    2. bent sensor bracket for SR10

problem could be caused by the lift gear issue/ think there is a pub on this issue
will search here it is> may or may not cause a error/ check it out

The tray lift gear gets out of place or is not positioned correctly in relation to the rack gear, the machine may exhibit an E540 8003. The gear may have skipped and the tray can be positioned in a way that neither SR10 or SR9 are active even though the tray edge appears to be between the sensor arms.
Tray lift gear is shown in Figure 15, item 7 of the Finisher Z1 parts catalog. (FU5-0369-000 20T gear)

    Solution :
    1. Mark the tooth on the gear and the slot on the rail.
    2. Disengage the gear just enough to allow movement without having to rotate the gear. Be careful not lose the drive pin.
    3. Reposition the gear 1 to 3 teeth up or down with out actually rotating the gear or motor. Moving the gear too far will cause binding, ideally move the gear one tooth at a time and test. The gear could be off in either direction so the adjustment could be up or down.

    Starting gear position.

Gear position after being moved two teeth up.
