    Copitrak
    ES ???

    what model printer ?

    may help below

To prohibit print jobs when a control device is installed set the following service mode:
    * Service Level 1, Copier/Option/User/Control. Set this mode to '1'to require a code at the device for printing.

To allow print jobs when a control device is installed set the following service mode:
    * Service Level 1, Copier/Option/User/Control. Set this mode to '0'so it will not require a code at the device for printing.

Additional Functions > System Settings > Dept. ID Management and set it to "ON". Press Register Dept. ID / Password, then press the Limit Functions button. Set Send to "OFF" and press OK and Done. After performing these steps, set Dept. ID Management back to "OFF" and press OK. Next press the Done button twice.

      Hi,

The model is iR 3245i and the customer wants the copier's screen totally locked out.
One thing I do not understand is how can the settings under Dept. ID Management play any role at all after the Dept. ID Management is turned off.

      Thanks for your help!
