I am a trained tech. I have not done an upgrade for many years and have forgotten the ip address config. i am upgrading system software for an ir2200

-need
SST
2200 Firmware loaded in SST
Put printer in download mode
give your laptop/PC an IP address of 172.16.1.10 with subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
If the HDD has been replaced or the HDD needed to be corrected, then first FORMAT using SST

Service Mode>Copier>Version>Boot-Rom, check to see if "N" is displayed next to the version

Network Boot ROMs are controlled parts and cannot be ordered

Network Boot Rom DIMM is not stocked as a service part.
To upgrade a stand alone machine into a network machine, a Multi PDL Kit must be installed.
The Network Boot DIMM wil be included in the kit.

• imageRUNNER 2200 /2800 /3300 Multi-PDL Printer Kit-C1 = 6895-A001-AA.

A Multi PDL Kit and Network Dimm will come standard in an " i " series imageRunner.
