[Misc] ir 5870 partial light copy

    Hello,

I tried to find with searching but I'm too old for it

    ir5870.pdf

I'm replaced primary and secondary corona, ITB and primary and secondary transfer rollers (after 500k copies). Results is the same.
Bright part of the copy appears when printing and copying. B/W or colour give me same result. Do you have any advice on what else could be causing this problem?

    thanks

In the IRC5870 the black Dev unit is located at the top of the Drum unit and opposite the Cleaning unit check both for an obstruction ie a piece of paper.

does copier gives some error code after certain number of copies/print?

it looks like that toner is not properly pouring into developer/toner unit, for which copier also give error code like e0020

what paper size is that example ??

cross-feed (front to back of printer)
or paper feed (lead edge to trail edge)

Check the grounding plate at the rear of the ITB assembly.// should be touching /secure all the time

Size is A4 . Light spot is the same position on A4R. Grounding checked and is OK.

I have one laser unit in the reserve, so I'll try to replace him. Easier than dismantle developer.
I will turn the result on Monday. Thank you all for your help.
