    [Error Code] Unusual E-065 Code

    Ir7105

every time happens in the initial rotation.

    points checked:

    By-pass and front door switches
24VDC in the J-721 from the dc power supply to hvt-dc is present
    Continuity between J-723(hvt-dc) and J-510(dc-Controller)
There is high voltage in the primary Joint Connector

Replaced parts in despair, even though they were not likely causes,
but some of them could be killing some line of 24Vdc:

    DC power supply
    HVT - DC
    DC Controller
    Main controller (entire box)
Ap kit assembly (with all coronas)
    Fixing/Feeder Frame Assembly
    Duplex unit
    All pick-up assembly

The only strange thing verified is in the COPIER>DISPLAY>HV-STS>PRIMARY

when I turn on the machine this menu show me 2191The alarm code 300001 also is generated when the code E-065 appear
Referred to primary charging assembly leakage

hate to say> but u may need to inspect & check all switch & their voltages

    -----------------------------------------------
some old info > u may already know

1-Check if manual feed open/close switch is faulty.
The manual feed open/close switch has 24 volts that loop through the micro-switch and goes to the Relay PCB. The 24 volts from the relay is also a supply voltage for the HVTDC (J721). When the manual feed open/close switch is open, 24 volts is cut from relay to HVTDC (J721).

2-It has been found that developer assembly can cause an E065

    contaminated toner
    / vacuum out

    3-AC HVT PCB

It worked, the resistor of the primary high voltage cable burned. o/

Sometimes it happened to me but always the transfer cable, and therefore it overshadowed my vision.

Anyway, thank you very much, Teckat

      You, as always, very helpful

Never seen an E065. Thanks for letting us know the fix.

          Cheers.
