do u have a Fiery imagePass on Printer
If you have an imagePASS controller (or other Fiery controller), you will need to change the IP Address of the machine in 'Fiery Setup'.

      ================================================== ================================
      To highlight the TCP/IP tab
The following item 'Initial Setup / Register' must be 'ON' to perform the
      network configuration.
Initial Setup / Register > System Administration Settings > Network
Settings > Change of Network Settings / Connection Check Display.>"ON"

      after setting>Then>>>>>>>>>
1-Turn off the main power supply switch by following the shut-down sequence.
2-then>Turn on the main power supply switch.

This document only covers using the copier control panel to change the IP Address of a 'copier only' or 'Canon Printer Kit driven' imageRUNNER.

If you have an imagePASS controller (or other Fiery controller), you will need to change the IP Address of the machine in 'Fiery Setup'.

IMPORTANT - The images of the control panel in this document may differ slightly from yours, depending on the System Software version on your machine.
Settings specified from the control panel become effective once the procedure is completed and the machine is restarted.

      1. Press [Additional Functions].

      2. On the touch panel display, press [System Settings].

IMPORTANT: If a message appears on the touch panel display prompting you to enter the System Manager ID and password, you will need to enter the System Manager ID and password that were configured previously on this machine. The System Manager ID and password was configured to protect the System Settings from unauthorized changes.

      3. Press [Network Settings].

      4. Press [TCP/IP Settings].

      5. Press [IP Address Settings]. Some newer devices will show IPv4 or IPv6 settings. Choose IPv4 Settings.

      6. Make sure that IP Address is highlighted. Then press the [Clear] button to erase the current IP address and enter the new IP address using the keypad. Change the subnet mask and gateway settings in the same manner (as necessary).

      * Since you are manually specifying a static IP Address, be sure that DHCP, BOOTP, and RARP are disabled.

      7. Confirm the settings you specified, and then press [OK]. The display returns to the TCP/IP Settings screen.

      8. Press [Done]. Repeat this step until the Additional Functions screen closes.

      9. Reboot the machine via the proper procedure for your specific model.
