[Error Code] E0067 - 102 for Canon IR C3580i

Good day,

Please help me on this. I replaced the Black drum unit due to having line appeared on print out, then when the machine goes on the error suddenly appear E0067 - 102. I clean all the contacts for the primary transfer roller also I change another Drum unit as per manual but i still got this error . Can some one help me on this error? thank you in advance

Dear all,

For a diagnosis goal, instal back the old drum (the one which gave you black lines). If the the error is still displayed, verify the machine driving/coupling gear of the black drum. If the error disappears, upgrade your machine to the latest DCCON and system versions. Instal the new drum.

Check to see if the primary transfer roller spring is deformed or detached.

I would replace all the other drums what are the % on them

it has been found that the coupling within the Drum Drive gets compressed. (See illustration #2 below)
check if this is your issue

Remove the e-ring and correct the spring tension as in illustration #3.

If I installed back the old drum which is having line, no error occurred.What Version do you recommend for upgrading.Right now the DC con version 65.02

Hello Sir,

Before the % of the 3 other drums are 75%, but i tried to reset the DC con so its become all zero. OK sir I am going to check the coupling. thank you

update:

Right now the machine was working,but when we did Full auto adjust, the 1st and 2nd calibration calibration prints will be ok but the final calibration which is the 3rd prints, the machine discontinued the process and then the error 0067-102 will display.

Did you check the primary transfer spring, does it go into position ok, is it deformed, or not there?

Did you clean were the spring contacts on the metal plate?

Was the replacement drum an OEM original, or rebuild? - There are contacts on the side of the drum, make sure they are not deformed and clean...

If all this is fine, when you put the 'hood' down ( I think of it as like a car hood gently press down on the right side to ensure good contact.

b. Clean the Process Unit contacts to the main frame.
c. Upgrade the DCON to v49.01

During the life of the ITB Unit, resistance against parts around the Primary Transfer Roller causes a decrease in the primary current at the drum detection sequence. This symptom may occur more frequently in a low temperature, low humidity environment.

This is the latest DCcon version.

Replace the transfer assembly or the scondary transfer roller.

Just remembered that the IBT UNIT develops a crack in frame connector for Black primary transfer roller connection/ effects black transfer for gradation

agree to that>> replace the ITB & it's cleaning unit
