I've used them. They're good. Use all the grease.

Found it is best to change the Press Roller also when replacing the sleeve....

Been using Katun films for all my bnw machines since the 2200's. Never had issues and they did last longer than the POS films that canon had back in the day.

I have the film tested once with the result that the pressure was so blurred slightly blurred. Film had a shiny surface, perhaps what has changed since.

Personally I have found those Katun films to be un reliable! they were fine on the ir2200 series, but not the 2270 series, they cause jamming & smudging prints etc. If the pressure roller & Canon fixing film units are replace the fixing unit will last for ages without any issues.

The Katun film seems to work better in the slower machines, but 35 and 45 CPM machines have a tendency to "eat" them faster. As another poster mentioned, you have to pay close attention to the pressure roller and bushings. The other thing is to make sure the heating element frame is not warped or bent. If they are, you may be lucky to get 2 months out of a Katun film before having to replace it again.
