    iR5075 Tray 3 paper out

This is a machine that was purchased from another vendor, so it's new to this company. Anyway, tray 3 doesn't show the paper size nor detect paper. "flashes" like it's out of paper.
    1. the tray does lift and stops at the top like it should (wondering why it stops if it doesn't detect paper)
    2. swapped ports 3 and 4, no change, still tray 3 doesn't detect.
    3. swapped cassettes to see if there was an issue, no change.

Is there some sort of sensor adjustment on these that can be ran? Anyone experience this? I've had them not lift before, but that was different.

    Thanks for the info.

make sure that the draw #3 is not set up as disabled --in Auto Paper Selection1) Press the Additional Functions key.
    2) Select the Common Settings option.
    3) Scroll until you see the option for Drawer Eligibility for APS/ADS.
    4) Depending on which model imageRUNNER being set, some of the following options are available for selection: Copy, Printer, Mailbox, Fax, and Other.

any messages on LCD ? flashing on tray icon

no add paper>even without paper in tray

1-it detects both cassettes because it lifts/= tested=yes

    2-swapped pick-up units 3>4= # 3 bay keeps the issue with # 4 swap/ tested=yes

3-it just will not show a paper size or load paper

there is a paper size adjustment/cassette width adjustment in service mode

    COPIER>FUNCTION>CST>C3-STMTR,
    COPIER>FUNCTION>CST>C3-A4R,
    COPIER>FUNCTION>CST>C4-STMTR, and
    COPIER>FUNCTION>CST>C4-A4R

This model requires paper to be in the tray in order to perform the adjustment.

look in this below and make sure all set to plain paper and not custom

Additional Function > Common Settings >< Store Paper Type>
Set the paper type to Plain

Thanks. Yes, the tray icon is flashing as in it is out of paper. Even after lift....and no paper size pops up when inserted.
