    Noisy IRC2380i

    Hey guys how goes?

I have a machine that is quite noisy when copying and printing.

I tested each individual motor in SM I/O

I isolated M12 / waste toner as the culprit, so I swapped it out

It is better, but in my opinion still not at a normal level

Has anyone else identified this issue?

    Thanks

        Yes, indeed
Turns out to be the gears this Motor drives are vibrating. I removed them all from their shafts and reinsert with some grease applied to the shafts. Did the trick for me.

Also if the cleaning unit is old the blade will vibrate on the transfer belt. Either replace it or clean & apply some drum cleaning powder.
