Hello all,
I had delivered IR3570 today and I was having problem with networking the copier.
The place where the copier was delivered had recently opened and the employee or the manager didn't have any idea how the network was set up.
Although I did get the printer driver installed I wanted to get some feedback from y'all about the issue I had.
First thing I did was input the ip address that was available (192.168.1.205) along with subnet mask and the default gateway.
After I rebooted the machine the ip changed automatically to 192.168.1.196 and the DHCP was highlighted when it wasn't before the reboot.
I also noticed that the DNS field was filled in when it was cleared before the reboot.
I eventually got the machine to get respond after unchecking the DHCP button and clearing the DNS.
My question is
1. Why and how did the ip address change from what was assigned
2. Why and how did the DHCP highlight by itself
I've had this type of issue several times and it just drives me crazy.
Appreciate the response in advance.
Thanks,
