What is it? How do I fix it? Where can I get a "SERVICE" manual listing all error codes (not just user error codes)?

E751	Abnormal condition of the drum unit/toner bottle "X" in the following errors shows "X=1: Reading" and "X=2: Writing". "x" shows colors [Y=1, M=2, C=3, K=4].
00Xx	Abnormal connection of the drum unit (Abnormal condition on the printer side)	Check the connection of the drum unit. / Replace the drum unit.
01Xx	Write error of the built-in memory in the drum unit	Check the connection of the drum unit. / Replace the drum unit.
02Xx	Data error of the built-in memory in the drum unit	Check the connection of the drum unit. / Replace the drum unit.
04Xx	CRC mismatch error in the drum unit	Check the connection of the drum unit. / Replace the drum unit.
05Xx	Drum unit communication error	Check the connection of the drum unit. / Replace the drum unit.
10Xx	Abnormal connection of the toner bottle (Abnormal condition on the printer side)	Check the connection of the toner bottle. / Replace the toner bottle.

I pull out the toner cartridge, wait half an hour, put it back in and it works for a while. It's a new yellow toner cartridge, so I don't want to junk it, but i don't want to fight the machine either.

Better be safe than sorry. Replace the cartridge and move on.

If you are using unauthorised toner and it turns out to be poor quality toner, it could start to affect your copy quality and posibly cause expensive damage. I agree, you should just bin the suspect toner.
