          Dear all,

Replace the fixing unit and do the appropriate adjustments.

Be sure to execute the following operations in service mode.

          -Clear the fixing delivery counter:
          COPIER > COUNTER > DRBL-1 > FX-BLT-U

-Execute the fixing belt and pressure belt HP search operation:
          COPIER > FUNCTION > FIXING > FX-UHP-S
          COPIER > FUNCTION > FIXING > FX-LHP-S

          Rachid.

did u try to do below for E004 in service mode
                COPIER>FUNCTION >CLEAR>ERR

5185's are not new printers/ they came out in 2007/

20K means nothing is FULL COLOR was run at more than 6% coverage

swapped FIX UNITS will probably pop an E007 Error down the road if u did not do the above posted adjustment

REPAIR what ?? Temperature issue ?
u would first need to disassemble to inspect> GEARS & CONNECTORS>
U CAN NOT INSPECT INTERIOR THERMOSTAT INSIDE BELT

Did u First check that the Fixing Door has not popped open and closes and locks properly (a typical problem that usually
                goes unnoticed) and retry.

Thanks friend. What i mean is that this particular machine is relatively new, haven done just about 20,000 prints. I also said that when i put another fixing unit, the machine worked perfectly. Meaning the problem is right inside the fixing unit. That is why i'm wondering what is damaged inside it and if it can be fixed. And thanks for the attachment, i 'll study closely and see what i can get from it. Thanks
