Does anyone know if this model came with an original user software installation disk? Have a customer that wants to install print, scan etc.

I have the guides and customer can print but I had trouble installing scanner on usb. I just got the original disk and am gonna use that. Running a network cable was gonna be an issue oterwise I would go that route. I should be good now. I personally have the mf version and it came with a disk that's why I was searching for oneComment

What device manager objects are added as a result of successfully installing the print and twain scanning drivers for the imageRUNNER 1023 / 1025 Series?
Answer :
Initially, the device drivers installed and properly running are shown in Figure 1. Before the device is connected, insert the User Software CD that came with the product and install print and twain scanning driver as needed. After this is done, connect a powered up iR1023/1025 device with a USB 2.0 cable to a desktop PC and wait for the desktop PC to finish configuring the device.

Device Manager would then show the following device objects shown below in Figure 2. Please note that should the device object be listed in any other category or has a yellow question mark, delete those device objects while the physical device is connected and then proceed with reinstallation of the driver from the driver CD.

Finally, after a successful driver installation, verify that in Control Panel > Scanners and Cameras, that WIA Canon iR1018/1022/1023 Image scanner device is displayed.

you can also try to get your drivers from canon asia, they are the only ones that have a bundle (all in one installation package with PCL, UFRII, SCAN and FAX) drivers for certain models from that class, i got from them the drivers for IR1018/1022, canon europe only had one by one and no scanner drivers available for Windows 7, give it a try if you want to, or try it like teckat showed you (is tips and advices do wonders lol, a compliment from a simple forum user
)
